Pleco Chinese Dictionary App Reviews

This one has all I need and is easy to use. They keep working on it and never hassle with ads or Popups. Character recognition is handy for the odd character I dont know( which happens at least once per sentence). Working from the radical is possible, to find a character that way. Good all-around app!

This is an amazing app. I use it as a center for all my Chinese learning. Support is superb, improvements, updates, and expansion often. For Chinese learning, this is "the" app.

If you are a student learning Chinese, or need to use it for business purposes or any other reason really, you need to get this app. It seems a little complicated at first, but this app was designed from the ground up for the way that the Chinese language works. There are so many useful features and add-ons that it isnt funny. Purchasing all of them is expensive, but well worth it if you need to use Chinese. Also, the developer behind this app is great about keeping everything up to date and functioning on new iOS versions, so this is an investment that is well worth it for the long term.

This app has consistently enabled me to quickly translate Mandarin words to English and back again with ease. Between the built-in OCR capability, dictionary packs and flash cards (which are all available offline), this app is highly recommended for anyone learning Mandarin and/or travelling to China.

This app has replaced a shelf full of dictionaries. The portability and hand writing capability have changed my life as a translator.
