Best Chinese Dictionary / vocab App around

... and they are still getting better with new dictionaries added. I use Pleco already for several years, and while there are many examples of apps not developing over the years Pleco is not one of them. I like the fact that they combine free dictionaries and the choice of picking your preferred paid ones as you like. The handwriting recognition is absolutely fabulous.

Best Chinese App EVER!!

Spent 6 months in China, this app played a big part in one of the best times of my life. Thank you Pleco! All my foreign friends (those who were app-savvy) used Pleco too. Superior features, no contest.

Best app ever! Worth every penny and more. Ive used it every day on multiple devices since it was just a baby beta....too many years ago to count. I think I even bought My first PDA so I could have Pleco. Must have app for anyone using Chinese language. Five stars every time!

I found this dictionary extremely handy and useful, and now with all new improvements and interface its even much better and fast to use. I dont think theres a better dictionary out there. awesome work!

My most used Chinese reference app. Tons of dictionaries to choose from, OCR feature for grabbing text and reading in the built-in reader, stellar handwriting recognition, word pronunciation, full-text search, excellent support, extremely customizable flashcards, multi dictionary display, pop-up definition epub reader, sample sentences, character comparisons in multiple fonts, etc and more make a great package. Well worth the investment.

If you are in any way involved with the Chinese language, then Pleco is the app to get. I use it every day on my iPad. Great customer support, too. Worth the $. P.S. One star off (I put it back...) for the continued inclusion of the ADS dictionary that contains too many incorrect entries, too misleading for beginners. My advice: Correct or remove!

Ive been learning Mandarin so you can imagine I have tried dozens of these kind of apps. Pleco is the best, no question!

Ive had this for about 2 years and its time I write a review lol. Pleco has saved me many times like when Im about to get called on by the teacher, I just quicky draw it on pleco. Ahha im pretty weird but yeah I hate getting the answer wrong in front of everyone. Anyways awesome app you should get it for learning chinese/mandarin!
